488: Jeff Deist - Advice For the Free-Minded College Student

Jeff Deist is the president of the Mises Institute. The institute is dedicated to teaching and research in the Austrian school of economics, and individual freedom, honest history, and international peace. It also hosts the annual Mises University event - a one-week crash course in Austrian Economics.

Since we have devoted a lot content recently to exploring the behavior of college students and how they got there, we thought it would be useful to get Jeff's thoughts about the toxic culture overtaking higher ed and to discuss how free-minded students can defend themselves from it.

Our conversation is build around two of Jeff's talks that book-ended the 2016 Presidential Campaign:

PC is Control, not Etiquette | Jeff Deist (October 2015)

Libertarian, Heal Thyself | Jeff Deist (February 2017)
