NSDC says 1,052 Ukrainian soldiers killed in east since April
Five Ukrainian servicemen have been killed and another ten have been injured in the army operation area in eastern Ukraine over the past 24 hours, National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) spokesman Andriy Lysenko said at a press briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday.
“Five Ukrainian servicemen have been killed and another ten have been injured as a result of shelling in the past 24 hours,” he said.
A total of 1,052 Ukrainian army soldiers have been killed since fighting broke out in Ukraine’s eastern regions in April, he added.

400 Ukrainian military missing, same number in captivity
KYIV: In captivity of terrorists there are still 400 Ukrainian servicemen, the fate of another 400 military is still unknown.
Spokesman of the NSDC Information-Analytical Center Andriy Lysenko told a briefing, a Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“We have more than 400 people missing, another 399 are being held hostage,” Lysenko said.
He added that for the duration of the ATO, 4,079 military were injured.
It is known that as of November 11, total number of deaths of Ukrainian military for the duration of the ATO is 1,052 persons.
