Donald Trump recently made it clear he will not accept any limitations on the U.S. military’s logistical support of the war in Yemen. On August 13, Donald Trump did what every president does, every single year, without question – he signed the annual military budget bill, the National Defense Authorization Act of 2019. (ZHE Op-ed) — Here we go again. Did Bolton just give jihadists facing imminent final defeat under Assad and Russian bombs an open door invitation to initiate a chemical provocation? As CNN and others warned this week that Syrian and Russian forces are closing in on the “last rebel stronghold” in Syria in the country’s northwest pocket of Idlib province, US […]

Avid readers of this blog are well aware of my efforts for the last 3 years to reveal to everyone the bitter truth that CELLULAR radiation is deadly to human health.... I have been in an uphill battle for years in trying to get people to understand the dangers that we face in regards to the latest push to upgrade cellular towers and cellular devices to the newest "5G" technology... This "upgrade" is in reality a danger to all of us, and I am again wanting to present some hard facts for people to ponder......Well, I once again feel vindicated....

RT | August 22, 2018 NATO claims its military buildup in Eastern Europe is justified as it deters Russia’s superior might. Yet, any Russian activity is overshadowed by the US-led bloc’s huge border drills, supposedly held to ‘counter’ Moscow’s moves. “NATO’s actions are defensive, proportionate and fully in line with our international commitments,” the alliance’s […]
There was some excellent news out of Florida, where the primaries are next Tuesday. The progressive in the race, Tallahassee mayor Andrew Gillum, is surging into first place. A new poll shows him with 33% while his two closest rivals, conservatives Gwen Graham and Philip Levine are each down to 22% and the other progressive in the race, Jeff Greene, is languishing at 10%.

(ANTIMEDIA) — Musician Sinead O’Connor tried to warn the world of abuses within the Catholic church during an appearance on Saturday Night Live in 1992, but no one listened. By Gilad Atzmon | August 22, 2018 What do you call an exclusively Aryan club that welcomes support from ALL members of society but only allows Aryans in as members? Nazis I guess. Yesterday's kiss of death-- in Wyoming! The two states that bought into Trump's bullshit the most fully in 2016 were West Virginia and Wyoming-- 68.5% of West Virginia voters and 67.4% of Wyoming voters. Both are big coal mining states. Hillary did worse in Wyoming-- 21.63%-- than anywhere else. Teton was the only county in the state she won-- and none of the others were close.
On Tuesday, Sen. Elizabeth Warren addressed the National Press Club, outlining with great specificity a host of proposals on issues including eliminating financial conflicts, close the revolving door between business and government and, perhaps most notably, reforming corporate structures.
“Michael Cohen doesn’t need half a million dollars to help him ‘tell the truth,’ and he’s not a #Resistance hero. He’s an absolute scumbag who is telling the truth because otherwise he’ll spend the rest of his life in jail.” (CD) — Just hours after President Donald Trump’s former personal attorney Michael Cohen admitted to taking part […]
I am mostly finished with Brothers, my third novel, a sequel to Salamander. My editor is worried that the beginning is too slow. One possible solution to that problem is a prolog, a brief passage at the beginning not part of the main plot.
RT | August 22, 2018 The position of US establishment is to blame for the counter-productive policy of sanctions against Russia, President Vladimir Putin said while describing his Helsinki meeting with President Donald Trump as “useful.” “It’s not only about the position of the US President. So, there you have it. Federal rules, regulations, and regulators are the cause. The federal sugar subsidy has created a massive increase in fertilizer use in agriculture in southern Florida and in other states, such as Louisiana. The EPA protects farmers and others who dump chemicals into the water by setting protection “limits,” and then federal officials dump excessive pollutants into our waterways and we have no recourse against them.
(ANTIWAR.COM) — Diplomatic priorities for the US can be quite complicated, and sometimes inscrutable. One constant high priority, however, is selling weapons made by America’s major arms-makers to other countries. Though private companies, they increasingly find the US diplomatic corps working as their sales team. This represents official determination to see the US remain the world’s largest exporter […]
How timely is that warning? Really?Like you could set your watch to that! It was exactly what I'd expected. Just needed to see the reporting on it to know if my suspicions were well founded. And, of course, they wereRehashing: I wrote a series of posts beginning back about two weeks ago on the plan, or what looks to me to be a plan of the Astana 3, to return Idlib back to the central Syrian government. As smoothly as possible in order to avoid intervention on the part of the “alliance” and their PKK proxies.
corbettreport | August 22, 2018 Remember when National Geographic won the fake news award for their sensationalist fake news about the starving polar bear. My bottom line is that Paul Krugman is right to praise Denmark.
My only gripe is that he likes the one thing that they’re doing wrong and overlooks all the things that make the country a relative success.

(ZHE) — If there was any doubt whether Michael Cohen had flipped, despite statements that he was not cooperating with the government as part of his guilty plea and refusing to name the “candidate” who instructed him to violate campaign finance law, that was promptly dissolved in the following hours when Cohen’s lawyer, Lanny Davis said that […]
This week my guests are Ed Opperman and Brian Heiss. First, we covered the latest development in the #MeToo saga: the allegations that Asia Argento abused actor Jimmy Bennet. We discussed who may have leaked this to the New York Times and why. We also touched on the complexities of sexual abuse, and how many victims go on to victimize. The conversation then shifted to the recent Pennsylvania Attorney General report which investigated rampant sexual abuse in the state’s Catholic Church.
But maybe it’s time for parents to take back play from both the teachers and the doctors. Parents can be the ones to carve-out abundant time and space for free play. They can delay school entry, and limit their child’s time in school and school-like activities. They can let their kids play outside and unsupervised—just like many of us did when we were young. Parents don’t need a doctor’s note to do this.
Last night I asked Alan Grayson what he plans to do on this first day back in Congress. Best known as a tireless fighter for seniors, he didn't hesitate for a moment to say he plans to lay out the detailed plans for impeaching Trump.
