Africa's GDP is 70 percent lower than Asia’s and 80 percent lower than that of Latin America.
Despite sustained economic support, African governments have been obstinate in their generally misguided and opaque development policies.

The regions currently administered by the Kurds in Syria include the Kurdish-majority Qamishli and al-Hasakah in northeastern Syria, and the Arab-majority towns of Manbij to the west of the Euphrates River in northern Syria and Kobani to the east of the Euphrates River along the Turkish border. The oil- and natural gas-rich Deir al-Zor governorate in eastern Syria has been[Read More...]

When power is balanced as delicately as it is in the Middle East, minor changes can have major consequences. So while 2,000 troops may not sound like much, Donald Trump’s decision to withdraw them from eastern Syria has generated a rich list of winners and losers. Here’s a rundown.
Russia, Russia, RUSSIA!! The very name of that land strikes fear in the hearts of Americans everywhere. Or at least so thinks the American Democrat Party and a cyber security company known as New Knowledge.
We dare not even call this an Orthodox Church. It is a thinly-veiled masquerade. But it looks like an Orthodox Church, and the services sound like Orthodox Services. But, wait. They wish to be (not like Christ, but) like Europe, and become “open” to LGBT -Qrstuvwyz12345… people? So says the false First Hierarch, “Metropolitan Epiphany” when he was called by prank callers. He didn’t know that the callers were pranksters but it didn’t stop him from letting the world know the big plans for Ukraine.
President Trump made an unexpected trip to Iraq on the day after Western Christmas, flying in secret on Air Force One with the lights blacked out and military escort jets alongside. The eleven-hour journey concluded with the President speaking to the US troops stationed there, but his message was intended for the whole world to hear.
In the crazy, topsy-turvy political world of America, insanity holds the upper hand, at least with the Democrat Party. Two lawmakers, Democrat Kamala Harris and Mazie Hirono, both US Senators, are now on record for calling the support of traditional marriage (one man marrying one woman) “extreme.”
On December 21st, a partial federal shutdown began, openly owned by President Trump. The reaction from many Americans, including those affected by the shutdown, is very supportive of this action. A large group of Americans, Trump supporters of course, really want the border wall. The Democrats response? Well, Nancy Pelosi went to Hawaii for vacation, and the Congress shows no urgency towards meeting to solve this problem.
On August 30, 2018, there was a widely reported incident on board the International Space Station (the ISS). A slight loss of cabin pressure on board the station was found to be caused by a 2mm wide hole that was in the hull of the Soyuz MS-09 spacecraft which was docked with the ISS at the time. After a failed launch attempt later in the fall, Russian cosmonaut Sergey Prokopyev finally succeeded in reaching the ISS to conduct an intensive inspection of the hole.
By ignoring national security advisors and “the generals” over his Syria and Afghanistan announcements, Trump had crossed swords with the military-intelligence establishment.
The noisings of Filaret Denisenko and President Poroshenko were getting noticed by Constantinople and by the West, who seek to use Ukraine as the next outpost in its proxy battle against Russia. This is not merely an ecclesiastical spat but a major front in the fight between secular or atheist globalism and Christian sovereignty.

The dogma of neoliberalism and brutal imperialism espoused by the foreign-policy establishment is at the heart of the problems between the US and the rest of the world.

This has been the 7th year that WikiLeaksfounder Julian Assange spent Christmas in confinement inside Ecuador’s London embassy. For nearly a decade, the US government’s aggressive witch-hunt of truthtellers has trapped him in the UK. Assange claimed political asylum in the Ecuadorian Embassy in 2012 to mitigate the risk of extradition to the US, relating to his publishing activities. He[Read More...]

In the army’s doctrinal view, counter insurgency operations[Read More...]

As of today the Southeast Asian and Asia-Pacific region have found themselves at the center of a complex international process of establishing a new regional architecture. As states carry on fighting for control over strategic sea routes that run across the region, numerous security and transitional threats would appear seemingly out of the blue.

Saluda al Jefe!Republican Will Hurd's recent reelection wasn't exactly overwhelming. In the end, he beat a very weak Democratic opponent 103,285 (49.2%) to 102,359 (48.7%) in an R+1 district where Hillary beat Trump 49.8% to 46.4%. The district has-- by far-- the longest border with Mexico (over 800 miles) of any district in America.
I have been attacking Canada's present "migration" policies for years now... I have said and I stand firmly behind my statements that this nation does NOT need any of the sewer rats that have been presently flooding across our southern border from the United States, for the simple fact that that vast majority of those illegal "migrants" have NO future in Canada at all.. The majority can NOT possibly in any shape or form become part of Canadian society as they themselves are incapable of ever joining said society...
I have indeed been following the reports closely over these last few days concerning the claimed US "withdrawal" from their illegal positions within Syria, and yes the US is indeed pulling out their forces from some of their "bases" across northern Syria, as well from their illegal position around Al Tanf in southern Syria... But rest assured, this "withdrawal" is absolutely a movement to take those troops out of Syria and redeploy them to the illegal US bases within neighbouring Iraq....
Several small attacks left casualties.

I am finally getting back to a sense of "normal"... My neck and upper back pains have been subsiding, gradually, and this short rest break has been good for my stress level...... I do want to thank those readers that have stuck by me as I recuperate...I figure I have enough energy this evening to fire off a few articles, and I want to start with a real good one from a fellow real truth seeker, John Kaminski, who of course has been writing essays over at his website at www.johnkaminski.org....
