Trump is king of GOP, Pelosi pulls House win, Progressives suffer setback

So much for a blue wave. Of all the three possible election result scenarios, Trump made midterm history, with a good overall Republican showing, by adding key seats to the GOP Senate majority, winning key Governor races, and losing the House in a moderate fashion.
According to the Gateway Pundit, thanks to President Trump Republicans picked up 4 new Senate seats on Tuesday with wins in Florida, Missouri, Indiana and North Dakata.

The America I Once Knew

The vast majority of baby boomers believe that they grew up in a free country. Was it free? Is it free? It has been said: “America is a free country… until you read the fine print!”
To be fair, freedom in every country is conditional, with the conditions stipulated in footnotes that can take up most of the page. The 1960s generation in the USSR, had little doubt that the USSR was a free country, outside of obvious restrictions like those imposed on travel abroad, restrictions that were easily explained by way of Uncle Sam’s imperialism and related connivances.

What might the Clinton plan be for getting rid of Trump?

Clinton is not the snore that she appears to be.
She’s a radical, an adept of the Hegelian doctrine of the state knowing what’s best for the individual and for the family. The notion that, “Father knows best,” is a relic. Stone Age vintage.  While Hegel’s disciples may have extended his philosophy to opposite hemispheres – to the Protestant Right and to the Marxist Left – little in Clinton’s book, It Takes a Village, or in her subsequent, expressed views, suggests anything but a militant Marxist perspective.
