Will they maintain keeping the country locked in their homes to ‘battle the coronavirus’, or will they lift the draconian measures and face an inevitable public response from the economic and societal fallout? In this special edition of UKC News, we completely dismantle the West’s ‘lockdown’ narrative and show beyond any reasonable doubt why it was never needed in the first place.

This week, the US, UK and EU governments began rolling out extreme emergency measures to try and help stem the tide of the novel Coronavirus, which the World Health Organization has now designated as an official global pandemic. The potential for economic devastation is very real, and so we ask whether or not governments will cope with the fall-out? Also, Chelsea Manning and Jeremy Hammond have finally been released from Grand Jury coercive detention after refusing to give evidence against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. And is 5G really safe? All this and more.

Turkey is threatening to start a shooting war with Syria and Russia in order to save its jihadist forces from annihilation in the last remaining terrorist stronghold of Idlib, triggering the US and UK to try and use the UNSC to intervene. Roger Stone was sentenced this week, as the US establishment used his case to bolster the Russia-WikiLeaks conspiracy theory. Also, it’s been revealed that since 2013, the UK government recruited and funded ‘opposition’ journalists in Syria to help promote the ‘moderate rebels’ and call for regime change in Damascus.

The impeachment circus came to an abrupt end this week as the US Senate voted to acquit President Trump of charges, drawing a line under a 4 year-long partisan RussiaGate hoax. The Democrats’ woes did not end there this week, as the Iowa Caucus Primary contest descended into chaos after the party’s dodgy digital election app failed to record votes, opening a back door for centerist, Pete Buttigieg, to come from behind and challenge front-runner Bernie Sanders.

After three and half years of chutes and ladders, Brexit is finally here with pundits touting a ‘New Dawn’ for Britain, but will anything change? Also, we look at Trump & Sons supposed landmark ‘Deal of the Century’ for Israel and Palestine – on closer inspection it’s already an unmitigated political disaster for the White House, and not much better for Tel Aviv either.
