Yemen’s Houthis Launch Fresh Missile and Drone Attacks on Saudi State Oil Facilities

Al-JAWF, YEMEN — Yemen’s Houthi-allied armed forces launched an attack on vital facilities belonging to Saudi Aramco inside the Kingdom’s western province of Madinah, situated about 165 kilometers west of the city of Medina. The attack took place on Friday and involved the launching of both missiles ballistic missiles and drones. It came in retaliation for deadly Saudi attacks against the al-Jawf Province in Yemen last Friday.

AL-DALI, YEMEN — At least seven civilians, including women and a child, were killed in Yemen’s southern province of Dhali on Sunday when Saudi airstrikes hit two civilian cars as they were returning along a road in the al-‘Awd district after a shopping trip for the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. The region is 165 km north of the capital Sana`a, far from the confrontations between Yemeni tribes supported by the Houthis and mercenaries of the Saudi-led Coalition. Two travellers were also killed in another car driving on the same road.

Yemen: Hodeida Truce in New Hands as UN Replaces Biased and Ineffective Monitor

SANA’A, YEMEN — The newly-appointed head of the United Nations mission to monitor Yemen’s truce agreement between the Houthis and the U.S.-backed Saudi coalition, Danish  Lt. Gen. Michael Anker Lollesgaard, arrived in Yemen’s capital Sana’a on Tuesday, along with a five-member team, to assume his duty in the country’s Red Sea port city of Hodeida. Lollesgaard succeeds retired Maj. Gen. Patrick Cammaert.

Sana’a Civilians Killed as Saudi Airstrikes Target Yemen’s Capital

SANA’A, YEMEN —  “Saudi fighter jets were hovering above our head and launching very violent raids, the likes of which we haven’t seen since the war began three years ago,” 52-year-old Ali Abdul Salam Damesh told MintPress News. “The neighboring houses shook so much we thought an earthquake hit the area.”
Damesh was one of the escapees who was able to flee from Saudi coalition airstrikes targeting the Jedder area in Yemen’s capital of Sana’a. Three civilians were killed and five injured in the largest such attack on the city in months.
