Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has communicated to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that Russian national Maria Butina must be set free and allowed to return to Russia, after she was arrested by US officials on dubious spy charges.
Lavrov said that the US should immediately release the Russian gun activist, who is being held in the US on espionage charges, after a phone conversation with his US counterpart.
Lavrov called the charges levied against Butina “fabricated.”

Russia’s embassy in London has sent a list of questions, 14 to be specific, to the British Foreign Ministry on the poisoning of Sergey and Yulia Skripal – which include a demand to clarify whether samples of the nerve agent “Novichok” have ever been developed in the UK.
The Russian embassy’s statement calls the incident that started the recent diplomatic row a “fabricated case against Russia.”

Russia’s Foreign Ministry has strongly criticised the Kiev regime’s kidnapping and illegal detention of Russian civilian journalist Anna Kurbatova.
Kurbatova was forcibly abducted by the SBU, the regime’s security service in a mafia style incident in central Kiev. She is currently being held and will soon be forcibly deported from the country. Her current condition remains unknown.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has shared a video on Facebook of the carnage, destruction, violence and mayhem being caused in Hamburg by anarchists, the far-left, random radicals and members of the group Antifa which is classed as a terrorist organisation in parts of the United States.

In her post Zakharova stated,

Two events have surreally coincided today in different parts of Damascus.
First there was a fake chemical attack in Eastern Ghouta and shortly thereafter an all too tragic and an all too real treble suicide bombing attack.
Two of the suicide bombers detonated their cars which were loaded with bombs near the Airport Roundabout in Eastern Damascus while a third was able to make it to a downtown area where he set off his bomb.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minsiter Gennady Gatilov has heavily criticised statements from the United States calming that they  will take heavy military measures against the Syrian government for a chemical attack that hasn’t actually happened and objectively could not be committed by the Syrian government.

Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov has condemned the US downing of a Syrian jet in Syria using even stronger language than Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
Lavrov stated that the US must coodinate its campaign in Syria with Russia and others while calling on the United States to respect Syrian sovereignty.

Foreign Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said that yesterday’s missile strike demonstrates that the US is the ‘..most unpredictable state in the world’ and that the illegal missile attack on Syria had nothing to do with finding out the truth behind the recent chemical weapons attack near Idlib.
In an interview with Rossiya-1 Zakharova said,

On the first day of what will almost certainly be useless peace talks in Brussels, the United States, Britain and France have proposed a UN resolution condemning a chemical attack in Syria. The resolution is based on the fake news reports which were debunked in The Duran, shortly after Reuters ran the deceptive story.
