Trump Team Promises To ‘Deal With Iran’ Before New Administration Comes To Power

(ANALYSIS) — After launching the disastrous missile strikes against Syrian military forces that resulted in the killing of Syrian soldiers, civilians, and children as well as sending ships toward North Korea in a flagrant act of aggression and dropping the largest known non-nuclear bomb on Afghanistan, the Trump administration is now taking aim at Iran.

Yesterday The Duran reported that US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson (as required by law to report to Congress on Iran’s adherence to the nuclear deal) had affirmed that Iran is in fact complying with the 2015 nuclear deal negotiated under the Obama White House.
On Wednesday, however, we got another Trump flip flop, which is in fact a return to Trump’s campaign rhetoric on Iran…the Trump Administration is flip flopping yesterday’s flip flop on Iran.

The good, the bad and the ugly of modern Iran

These days, any small amount of foreign policy realism from the Trump administration is good news.
The goods news is that both Donald Trump and Rex Tillerson have acknowledged that Iran is in full compliance with the nuclear deal agreed between Iran, the US, Russia, China, UK, France and Germany.
The bad news and frankly the absurd news is that Tillerson has said Iran,

“…remains a leading state sponsor of terror through many platforms and methods”.
