For the latter to be achieved, the agreement would have to make the interests of the Palestinian people a priority, above factional agendas.

New South Korean President Moon Jae-in has made clear he wants to get reconciliation talks going with North Korea, and took a bit of a shot at US sanctions pushes in comments yesterday, saying he thinks sanctions should only be considered as a tool to get North Korea to the table for talks.

Syrian Reconciliation: Al-Hussinieh

Al-Hussinieh was the first quarter in Damascus and its countryside to witness a reconciliation which allowed its residents to return and live there.

The reconciliation process took 3 months to be achieved, and it followed a bloody three-year war in the village which led locals to evacuate it because of the clashes between the Syrian army and armed groups, but now, after the reconciliation, life is gradually getting back to normal.
