The shift towards Mike Siegel in 2018 was 15 points, one of the strongest in Texas.

Rachel: "Calling Montenegro and Montenegrins a threat is not part of American foreign policy. It's not part of conservative American foreign policy, liberal foreign policy, the Moon-Is-Made-Of-Green-Cheese American foreign policy. The president is not reading that in his briefing books no matter who is writing them. He's not hearing that from anybody in the American Congress. His advisors are not whispering in his ear about the aggressive Montenegrins and the threat of World War III.

When Elizabeth Warren did her first interview after announcing the formation of a presidential exploratory committee, she chose Rachel Maddow. You can safely skip another typically exciting 5 full minute Maddow windup. The point I would like to get to was Warren's call-- at around the 9:40 moment on the video-- for Democrats to eschew campaign money from what Bernie calls "the billionaire class," including self-funders (Tom Steyer and, especially, on-again/off-again Republican Michael Bloomberg). "Just think about this upcoming Democratic primary," said Warren.

A couple of nights ago, Rachel Maddow opened her show with a history lesson-- how Watergate Republicans in Congress slit their own throats by defending Nixon's cascade of lies. She starts with a little-known Indiana Republican congressman, David Dennis, elected in 1968 in what is now deep red IN-06 (represented today by Luke Messer, about to be replaced by Mike Pence's brother Greg who won the seat last month, 63.8% to 32.9%).

Trump.
