According to a member of the German Parliament, the failure of the German and British intelligence to produce evidence that Russia was responsible for the Skripal poisonings demonstrates that they really don’t have any such evidence.

The Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) found zero evidence that sarin nerve gas was used in an attack reported by the dubious al-Qaeda-linked White Helmets. The US rained airstrikes on Syria following the disputed event, which nearly led to war with Russia. Trump has authorized $6.6 million to fund the White Helmets. [...]

The OPCW issued an interim report that states no traces of any nerve agents have been found at the site of a suspected chemical attack in the Syrian city of Douma.
