They are, after all conservatives and oppose Trump because-- among other things-- he isn't. Many don't have to hold their noses to vote for Biden. He's just what they're looking for.
So far this year, some of my favorite campaign ads were done by the Lincoln Project, virulently anti-Trump Republicans who have lately turned their fire-power against vulnerable Trump enablers in the Senate, like Martha McSally (R-AZ) and Thom Tillis (R-NC).
True-- except he was never liberal on civil rights or civil libertiesEvery Republican presidential candidate has had a Democrats For [GOP asshole] and every Democratic candidate has had a Democrats For [Dem asshole]. I'm old and I don't remember an election when that wasn't the case, although I imagine Republicans for Biden is going to be a lot larger and more vibrant than a Republicans for Bernie committee might have been.
Aaron Price used to be a Republican political consultant. In January he wrote about why he had decided to leave the GOP and become, more or less, a Democrat. He admits, though, he hasn't changed any of his core political beliefs. He's still a Republican-- just wearing a "D" next to his name until Trump is gone...
You won't see the ad up top or the ad below unless you watch the Trumpist Regime propaganda shows,Fox And Friends or Lou Dobbs Tonight, a show with virtually no viewers. The ads, by #NeverTrumpers, Republicans for the Rule of Law, will be broadcast every day next week, while the Trumpanzee Senate impeachment trial is playing out.
The newest-- I guess-- #NeverTrumpster conservative group is the Lincoln Project, basically George Conway, Rick Wilson, Steve Schmidt, Reed Galen, Jennifer Horn, Mike Madrid, Ron Steslow, John Weaver, Sally Canfield, Chip Felkel, Molly Jong-Fast, Sophia Nelson, Tom Nichols, Tara Setmayer, and Chris Vance. They call themselves "advisors" to the Lincoln Project. And they define their mission as defeating Trump and Trumpism at the ballot box. "We do not undertake this task lightly nor from ideological preference," they wrote. "Our many policy differences with national Democrats remain.

One of the most disgusting of the lot, AOC-hater Donnie Deutsch, admitted on the air, on Morning Joe, that if Bernie is the nominee, he'd vote for Trump: "I find Donald Trump reprehensible as a human being, but a socialist candidate is more dangerous to this country...
