Fake News and Alt-Right are the latest incantations of the attempt to reroute discussion and illumination of fraud and governmental deceit. Before them was the granddaddy of deflection: the conspiracy theory.

In my years I have never seen anything quite like this. And for good reason.
Who am I? I spell out simply.

The most beautiful words ever enunciated and the most surely under threat of extinction. Broadly inclusive yet exquisitely imprecise. Magnificently vague in coverage yet the first line of defense against tyranny of expression and thought and the expression of the simple idea. The troublesome idea. The noxious and noisome. This is the essence of who we are as a republic. Let me explain and give examples accordingly.

Now state Senator Stanley Chang, once a Blue America congressional candidate, introduced us and told me he's one of the smartest and most progressive political leaders in Hawaii. At age 27, he's also the youngest chairperson in Hawaii's legislative history, heading up the Ocean, Marine Resources, and Hawaiian Affairs committee in the state legislature.

Trump led Ted Cruz into thinking he was up for the Attorney General job, all the time laughing his ass off at the despised Texas ego-maniac. He called Cruz in for a very public meeting, encouraged him to blab to the press that he was being considered to head the Department of Justice... and then promptly humiliated him by appointing an incompetent DC joke, Jefferson Beauregard Sessions III.

It’s really that simple. And you can help. Just listen. And learn.
