Will The Pandemic Kill Trump's Catastrophic Political Career?

Americans are rapidly waking up to the fact that the Trump regime has done an abysmal job in responding to the pandemic. Even rural counties-- largely red, largely Trumpist-- are starting to see upticks in infection. "Many communities that watched the pandemic unfold in far-away places are now experiencing the crisis first hand.

Americans Trust Democratic Governors Far More Than They Trust Trump To Handle The Pandemic-- And That Will Play Out In November

Louisiana is a deep red state, although they elected a fairly conservative centrist Democrat, John Bel Edwards, governor-- twice. In 2016 the state went for Trump over Hillary 1,178,004 (58.1%) to 779,535 (38.4%). She took 10 of the state's 64 parishes-- basically the black vote and nothing more. The state has 2 ultra-conservative Republican U.S.

Michigan 2020-- Will Democrats Make The Same Mistake They Made In 2016?

Michigan used to be a reliably Republican state. Michiganders picked native son Jerry Ford over Carter in 1976, Reagan both times he ran and the George H.W. Bush over Dukakis in 1988 but in 1992 the state started turning-- and voting-- blue. Bill Clinton beat George H.W. Bush and then Dole; Bush II lost there both times he ran and then Obama won both times he ran.
