Medicare for All

When I look at polls I always have to remind myself of something I figured out when I used to run for office in college. I was elected freshman class president and, in my senior year, an at-laerge senator with more votes than any other candidate running. What I figured out at the time-- in the midst of the Vietnam War is that we start off with about a third of the people favoring, a third of the people opposing and a third of the people not sure or not caring about just about any contentious issue. At my school, it was that way over the war.

When I was growing up, there weren't a lot of women's voices in the media. I'm old. But I remember always wanting to read Eleanor Clift in Newsweek, not so much because I agreed with her but because she was the only woman around writing about politics. She's even older than I am-- and older than Biden, Trump and Bernie.

The DCCC policy of stifling primaries isn't new, but under Cheri Bustos they're pursuing it openly-- and with a vengeance.

X, a freshman, immediately joined the Blue Dog and New Dems and has a ghastly (F) voting record already.

Most Americans tell pollsters they like Medicare-For-All... but corrupt conservatives-- primarily Republicans but from both parties-- haven't finished their attempts to brainwash the public that it's a bad idea. Crooked bankster Robert Pozen pointed out in a Wall Street Journal OpEd Wednesday that "The title is deeply misleading. It implies that the current Medicare system would be extended to all Americans. In fact, Medicare-For-All, differs from Medicare in fundamental ways." Yes? Yes?
