It may go down as Trump’s biggest bait and switch ever. It’s pay more for worse insurance and while we’re at it, we’re cutting Medicaid and redistributing the wealth of American citizens upward, bigly.

Soon after a draft version of the Republican’s Senate version of their Trumpcare care bill was released Thursday morning, Capitol Hill Police were systematically arresting people who staged a dramatic sit-in outside of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s office.

The United States has the worst rate of maternal deaths in the developed world, NPR reports. Some of these deaths are due to poor maternal health, but a big part of the problem is high rates of intervention. For starters, let’s look at how a typical American woman gives birth.

The American Health Care Act (Trumpcare) recently approved by the Republican-controlled House is a truly terrible bill. It would cause millions to lose Medicaid coverage to finance a large tax cut for the top 1 percent.

Yesterday the DCCC targeted 10 Republicans whose seats appear vulnerable with new digital ads about their votes for TrumpCare. There were 217 Republicans who voted for it but the DCCC picked 10: Martha McSally (AZ), Jeff Denham (CA), David Valadao (CA), Carlos Curbelo (FL), Kevin Yoder (KS), Bruce Poliquin (ME), Jason Lewis (MN), Rodney Frelinghuysen (NJ), Claudia Tenney (NY) and John Faso (NY). Except for Frelinghuysen and the 3 freshmen (Faso, Tenney and Lewis), they're all failed targets from last year.

Republicans are hoping voters already forgot thisKansas has mostly been a one-party state in contemporary politics. Their entire congressional delegation is Republican. All 6 statewide elected officers are Republicans and the state legislature-- blood red. Of the 125 House members, only 40 are Democrats and in the state Senate-- 40 members and just 9 lonely Democrats. And yet...
