Mass Shooting

A shooting that wounded 13 people and left four in critical condition took place during a dispute inside a house party honoring the memory of a man shot dead during an attempted carjacking. The first shots were fired in the house, and two people appeared to shoot “randomly” at fleeing guests.

There is a massive rise in violence after the 2015 riots. Since that time, police have been increasingly reluctant to confront criminals lest they be accused of police brutality or racism.

A black man and woman shot and killed a police officer and then stormed a Jewish market and killed three more people. There is rising tension amid the increasing population of ultra-Orthodox Jews in the residential area populated by the local black community.

Mainstream news reported that he had hosted a dinner party the night before the attack to watch mass-shooting videos. Six Saudi nationals were also arrested, including three who were seen filming the shooting. 

Romero was up for a captain’s mast, a military criminal proceeding that is below a court martial. He had taken anger management classes, yet was assigned to armed guard duty.

LeBraun Wallace, Jaquez Sweeney, Jason Iles, and Shamron Mitchell were arrested on accusations of murder. One investigator called it a "bloodbath" unlike anything he had ever seen and that many of those who attended the party were armed. Rival gangs were reported to be involved.

A 16-year old Asian student, Nathaniel Berhow, is the suspect in a shooting at Saugus High School that killed two students and left more injured. Reports indicate there is video evidence that the suspect turned the handgun on himself and is in 'grave' condition.

Seth Ator previously failed a gun-purchase background check. He did not go through a gun check for the gun he used in Odessa. Criminals and drug addicts are able to access guns despite gun-control laws.

Police say that there were “adults who were privy” that a shooting might occur, or who knew there was some kind of beef between Parnell and others and said nothing.

Social media users directed vitriol not only at the president’s demeanor in the photo, but also the families of victims for daring to pose with him.
