Kimbrady Carriker was arrested for allegedly shooting and killing five men and injuring four people while he walked down a neighborhood street and fired randomly at pedestrians, cars and homes on July 3, 2023. While he supported Black Lives Matter, he shot black people.

The recent school shooting in the Texas border town of Uvalde by Salvador Ramos, 18, raises questions about why police on the premises hesitated to go after Ramos who reportedly killed children for 40 minutes or more before Border Patrol showed up and shot him.

Two parishioners, including a former FBI agent working security, fired on the gunman and killed him. A representative from the FBI did not identify the shooter, but said he was "relatively transient with roots to this area" and had been arrested multiple times in different municipalities."

Hill has an extensive criminal history, and has been convicted six times on charges that involved illegal possession of guns, drug dealing, and aggravated assault. He has been in and out of prison and was able to beat criminal charges on everything from kidnapping to attempted murder.
