BREAKING: Explosion reported in central Lugansk

A large explosion has hit central Lugansk city, the capital of the Lugansk People’s Republic in Donbass.
The explosion has reportedly destroyed the Monument to the Defenders of the Lugansk People’s Republic as well as a military vehicle parked nearby. This has occurred as world leaders gather at the UN General Assembly to debate contemporary issues of peace, including the ongoing  war of aggression on the Republics of Donbass.

Donetsk People’s Republic to open embassy in France

The Foreign Ministry of the Donetsk People’s Republic has annoced that it is opening an embassy in the southern French city of Marseilles. The Donetsk People’s Republic recently opened an embassy in Athens with the assistance of a local supporter, Professor Andreas Zafiris.
Donetsk People’s Republic Foreign Minister Natalya Nikonorova said of the new facility in France,

CONFIRMED: Donetsk People’s Republic Embassy in Athens is operational

An Embassy of the Donetsk People’s Republic has opened in Athens with the help of a local volunteer, Professor Andreas Zafiris. The Embassy will serve as a place where people can bring food, medicine and other essential items which will be delivered to the people of Donbass.
Zafiris who has always been politically active has visited Donbass many times on charitable good will and fact finding missions.

3 years since deadly Ukrainian regime air strike against Donbass civilians in Lugansk

Today marks the three year anniversary of a deadly air raid lunched by the air force of the Ukrainian regime against the Lugansk People’s Republic.
After skirmishes at a border base in Lugansk, the regime in Kiev ordered an aerial bombing which left 11 dead and 8 wounded. These numbers are at best, conservative estimates.
The Ukrainian regime later went on record lying about the incident saying that the carnage was caused by surface to air missiles operated by the Lugansk People’s Republic.

Former Ukrainian leader calls for Facebook ban

Not content with banning the Russian owned and internationally used social media network VK as well as the multi-lingual Russian owned Yandex search engine, former Ukrainian leader Oleksandr Turchynov has stated that Facebook should also be banned.
He justified his proposals on the American owned social media network by stating that there are, “Russian special services that create fake accounts, share false-flag information, some provocative information”.

CONFIRMED: The Donetsk People’s Republic seeks to join the Russian Federation

Many people have wondered whether the leaders of Donetsk and Lugansk wish their young countries to remain independent republics when the war is over or whether they see their long term future in the Russian Federation.
Today, the answer came from Donetsk People’s Republic leader Alexander Zakharchenko.
Speaking at a press conference during a meeting with Russian politicians, Zakharchenko said,

“We have only one goal, returning to the homeland”.

Kiev cuts electricity to Lugansk People’s Republic, prepares to do same to Donetsk People’s Republic

Ukraine today cut off supplies of electricity to the Lugansk People’s Republic, and says it is preparing to do the same to the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Supposedly the decision was made because of unpaid power bills.  In reality it is part of the blockade Ukraine has imposed on the two People’s Republics.

OSCE monitor killed in Lugansk mine accident

An OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) monitor near Prishib village in the Lugansk Peoples’ Republic has died after his car deviated from a man road and drove onto a mine. Another man in the car was injured.
This comes after recent reports of spies and militants loyal to the Kiev regime, using vehicles with OSCE decals to conduct covert missions in the Donbass republics.

Lugansk People’s Republic calls for international investigation of chemical weapons proliferation by Ukrainian regime

The Duran recently reported on stories that forces of the Ukrainian regime have used chemical weapons on Donbass, including on civilian populations.

Today, the Lugansk People’s Republic in Donbass has issued a statement urging for international condemnation of and further investigations into the chemical weapons that the Kiev regime holds in its weapons arsenals.

Donetsk leader Zakharchenko tells Crimeans his republic will soon come home to Russia

Donetsk People’s Republic leader, Alexander Zakharchenko has recently been in Crimea, celebrating the three year anniversary of Sevastopol and Crimea’s reunification with the rest of the Russian Federation.
It was here that Zakharchenko gave his clearest indication yet of where he sees his Republic in the near future. Many have questioned whether the future of the Donbass republics would be as sovereign states engaged in fraternal relations with Russia or whether in time they to would re-unite with their historic motherland.
