LIONEL PODCAST: AutoMourn, America’s Ghoulish Funereal Media Dance and Kakistocracy

Remember that thing called the election? I mean the election. With our media’s ghoulish and juvenescent preoccupation with over-the-top funereal renditions of what is allegedly respectful remembrance and classy eulogia, all that matters is ignored. But I tried. And try. To redirect the attention span of our collective country.

LIONEL PODCAST: The Genius of America Is Our Ability to Avoid Reality

The American public is distracted, detached and distanced from anything that we vaguely recognize as relevant. And who can blame us? It’s so much easier to talk of the pol who cuts a pizza slice with a knife and fork versus the patented pleated fold. Or seeing Madame Hillary fumble with a NY subway Metrocard to travel two stops in her sudden connection with the masses. We’re a country who knows nothing, feels nothing and appreciates nothing. That involves intellectual heavy lifting. And concern. Alas.

When you sit down to a spaghetti meal with your family, you might reach for the Parmesan cheese shaker almost instinctively. But in addition to some Parmesan, did you know that you might be shaking out unsafe levels of wood pulp all over your sauce? And the label wont’ even tell you.
Look at the nutrition label on your Parmesan bottle. If you see “cellulose” listed as an ingredient, the product contains wood pulp.

NYPD Sued by Two Atlanta Hawks NBA Players Falsely Arrested Last Year Giving $20 to Homeless Man

Two Atlanta Hawks players are suing NYPD for damages pegged at up to a combined $75,000,000 for a single false arrest outside a New York nightclub last year.
It all started when one player tried to hand $20 to a homeless person after police closed the nightclub down at 4:15am.
And the NYPD beat up that player.
It knocked him out for the season too.
Hawks starting Small Foward Thabo Sefolosia, missed the end of the season and his NBA team’s run to the Eastern Conference Finals after police broke his fibula and tore ligaments in his ankle too.

LIONEL PODCAST: Of Course Americans Know Nothing When They Obviously Don’t Read, Comprehend or Care About Anything

Americans are too busy. Too busy taking pictures of their food and selfies and being self-absorbed and self-focused, bathing in a warm narcissistic glow. And when it comes to getting deep into certain issues, especially those that might be construed as being conspiratorial in nature (translation: true), you might as well change that channel, Sparky. We’re busy. But how we love to bask in the delusion that we’re news junkies, possessed of an elementary understanding of the working parts of multitiered issues analysis. Pshaw! Have a nice day.

South Carolina Cops Pay Zachary Hammond’s Family $2.15MM Wrongful Death Settlement

In a desperate bid to keep the killer cop off the stand, South Carolina cops settled for $2,150,000 with Zachary Hammond’s family in their wrongful death lawsuit.
Seneca Police Lt. Mark Tiller shot and killed Hammond, then lied about the circumstances, claiming the teen tried to run him over.
But Tiller shot through the passenger window.
It was a small time marijuana sale gone horribly wrong.
Zachary Hammond’s passenger was the target.
