Las Vegas Cop Sexually Assaults Family Member then goes on SWAT Standoff with Police

What happens in Vegas is not staying in Vegas for this story, because a Las Vegas cop sexually assaulted his family member for years.
And the officer barricaded himself in his own home once he found out police were on the way to arrest him– prompting an hours long standoff.
Officer Bret Theil, 38, of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was arrested on Thursday morning after he barricaded himself at his house to avoid being arrested for sexually abusing a member of his family from August 2005 to January 2017.  The victim was just 7 years old when the abuse began.
