The leader of Arizona’s Republican party, Jeff DeWitt, resigned on Wednesday after leaked audio of him appearing to offer a bribe to the Republican candidate Kari Lake was exposed. Those making the offer were not revealed, except that they were powerful people from 'back East'.

Supervisor Ron Gould said, “I found out today that I have no choice but to vote ‘aye,’ or I’ll be arrested and charged with a felony.”
