Canada’s tariffs on US goods goes into effect
Following US President Donald Trump’s metals tariffs, Canada, together with a host of other American trading partners, vowed responsive tariffs aimed at goods imported from the US. Those threats are now becoming a reality as Canada’s response is becoming a reality on July 1st, when Canadian tariffs will go into effect.

Japan suspends missile evacuation drills
Following a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Singapore, US President Donald Trump announced that the North Korean threat was no longer a nuclear one and that he was suspending certain military exercises in the area on the basis that they are both expensive and a ‘provocation’.

The West Really Hates China
It appears that the Western public, both relatively ‘educated’ and thoroughly ignorant, could, after some persuasion, agree on certain very basic facts – for instance that Russia has historically been a victim of countless European aggressions, or that countries like Venezuela, Cuba, Iran or North Korea (DPRK) have never in modern history crossed the borders of foreign nations in order to attack, plunder or to overthrow governments.
