In a strange twist, Putin meets with Turkish Foreign Minister and Turkey’s Intelligence Chief (Video)

Russia President Vladimir Putin received Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Turkish Minister of Defence Hulusi Akar in the Kremlin to discuss economic cooperation issues as well as the Syrian crisis.
In attendance at the meeting was the Head of Turkey’s National Intelligence Organisation Hakan Fidan.
The meeting comes on the heels of a recent report from Russian Television that asserts that the U.S. is positioning weaponry for a bombing-raid to punish Syria for a soon to happen Al Qaeda/White Helmets chemical weapons attacks.

Russian and US military chiefs meet in Turkey to discuss the fight against ISIS

Just three weeks after the top soldiers of the US and Russian militaries – General Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and General Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff – met in Azerbaijan, they have followed up with a second meeting in Antalya Turkey, for a summit hosted by Turkey’s top soldier, General Hulusi Akar, who is the Chief of the Turkish General Staff.
