Vive Le Racisme? Monsieur Macron and Africa’s ‘Civilizational’ Malaise

Now that the dust has settled and global media is no longer focusing on the handshakes of an American president, we look back at the G20 Summit (early July) and find it memorable for a number of reasons:
The riots in Hamburg, German Chancellor Merkel’s viral eye-roll at Russia’s President Putin, Ivanka Trump’s controversial sit-in for her father or perhaps French President Macron’s open, blatant racism.
Let’s look at the latter.

Assange talk in Hamburg disrupted by possible sabotage

Wikileaks founder Julian Assange was scheduled to speak via web-link to a conference organised in Hamburg to coincide with the G20.
Just before Assange was about to address the audience, a fire alarm sounded and the authorities forced the attendees to evacuate the building in spite of the fact that there was no fire or any other kind of danger.

Even after the orderly evacuation, attendees were not allowed back into the building and Assange was not able to address the audience.

It was meant to last for half an hour but the first face-to-face meaning between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump last for more than two hours.
In a much anticipated meeting which US media had speculated would be a charged, high-stakes face-to-face, the two leaders exchanged pleasantries as if they were two old friends trying to work out a difference between them.

Maria Zakharova SLAMS “European Hooligans” ruining the G20

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has shared a video on Facebook of the carnage, destruction, violence and mayhem being caused in Hamburg by anarchists, the far-left, random radicals and members of the group Antifa which is classed as a terrorist organisation in parts of the United States.

In her post Zakharova stated,

Germany’s 2nd Largest City Bans K-Cups in Government Buildings

Keurigs and other single-serve coffee makers make great coffee and they sure are convenient. But environmentally speaking, the little plastic coffee pods, or “K-Cups,” that house the coffee are a nightmare. So much so that the city Hamburg, Germany’s second-largest city, just became the first in the world to ban them.
