Gun Free Zone

57.5% of American voters believe that preventing properly trained school teachers and school staff from carrying a firearm makes schools more dangerous, compared to only 30.8% who believe that preventing trained teachers staff from carrying a gun makes schools less dangerous.

The Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020, proposes all imaginable gun-control regulations, including national gun license, "Red Flag" gun confiscation, a 30% gun tax, an a 50% ammo tax, more no-gun zones, and much more.

Gun-free zones are dangerous as they deprive people of their right to self defense. Criminals ignore gun-free zone laws and are rarely, if ever, charged for the crime of violating gun-free zones.

California has some of the most restrictive anti-gun laws in the US, but criminals do not obey them, leaving law-abiding citizens disarmed and vulnerable.

Recognizing that 'gun-free-zone' schools are easy targets for shooters, President Trump has proposed arming about 20% of teachers with guns and paying them a small bonus. Instead of confiscating guns and implementing more gun regulations (which have never worked in the past), he proposes to encourage good guys to be ready, if necessary, to defend the students. [...]

Benton, Kentucky: A 15-year-old, male student was arrested on murder charges after allegedly opening fire in the Marshall County High School, killing two students and wounding 14 others.
