It’s often been said that in the United States you have one party (Big Government) with two branches (Democrats and Republicans). While Democrats talk a big game about being America’s ‘green’ guardians of the environment, in the end both parties will bow to transnational corporations if the price is right.

I'm not a big Gavin Newsom fan-- to put it mildly-- but he finally did what every governor needs to do and what that dumbass, predator in the White House needs to do, to begin the process that will flatten the curve enough to actually confront the pandemic in the U.S Newsom issued the statewide stay-at-home order that could save millions of lives.

Yesterday a senior member of Congress told me that he's taking the pandemic a lot more seriously than his wife, his friends and, most disturbingly, his colleagues, and speculated that it's because he's "been hearing about this for a lot longer than most people and I think it is going to get real bad in about 10 days. I hope I'm wrong, but fear I'm not. People in DC are not taking it seriously enough. I'm hearing bars and restaurants are still full." Bad enough, but the leadership is doing far too little and far too late.

Gavin Newsom, is a wealthy leftist who avoids living under the policies he forces on others, and has shunned the Governor's mansion, which is walking distance to the state capital in Sacramento, in favor of a home that requires a 1-hour daily commute with his entourage, thus, increasing his carbon footprint.

In order to force middle-class citizens to pay for the government handouts, Newsom is seeking to restore the individual mandate to purchase health insurance within the state, a law that was terminated at the federal level by President Trump.
