Hello, Newsbud Community Members! March has been a busy month. We’ve brought on another addition to the team, developed a new show and an online course program, journeyed to and from Vietnam to bring you an insightful investigative report, and are beginning to ramp up for Kickstarter, Phase 3. And we have you to thank for our ability to make such great strides!
Jingfang Liu is an Associate Professor in the Communications Department at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. Her paper, “China’s Green Public Culture: Network Pragmatics and the Environment”, co-authored with G. Thomas Goodnight, appeared in the International Journal of Communication in 2016.

The U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) spent at least $26,544,044,000 on 169 individual contracts during February 2017. This amount does not include 18 Foreign Military Sales transactions worth $2,089,000,000.
A Conversation with an Expert on Whistleblowing
Brian Martin is a social scientist at the Faculty of Arts School of Humanities and Social Inquiry at the University of Wollongong in NSW, Australia. He was president of Whistleblowers Australia from 1996 to 1999 and remains their International Director.
