A challenge to anti-Russia US politicians

Even if the US Congress moves on from Russiagate, the mainstream media have invested so much time and human resources into a perennially anti-Russian spin on news stories, it remains unlikely that they’ll give up on their investment any time soon.
Senator Joseph McCarthy was in office between 1947 and his death ten years later. During much of that time, his primary function was to accuse various people in the media, military, government and entertainment industries of being subversive pro-Soviet Communists.

Trump Proposes Jail Or Loss Of Citizenship For Burning American Flag

A protester holds an American flag while protesting in Oakland, Calif., on Monday, Nov. 24, 2014, after the announcement that a grand jury decided not to indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson in the fatal shooting of Michael Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old.
US President-elect Donald Trump proposed on Tuesday to punish US citizens for burning the US flag by revoking their citizenship or by imprisonment.

Antitobacco Groups Sue FDA over Cigarette Warning Delays

Antitobacco groups have decided to file a lawsuit against the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) over the agency’s delay in issuing a final rule about graphic health warnings on cigarette packs and ads. [1]
The legal action was launched October 4 in federal court in Boston by the following groups, as well as several pediatricians:

Trump denying press credentials as private citizen, yet “America’s greatest President,” Abraham Lincoln, arrested critical newspaper editors

With word that Trump has revoked the press credentials of the Washington Post for appearing in an official capacity at any of his events, and criticism of that from the usual quarters, I couldn’t help but recall what I learned perhaps only about five to six years ago, about “America’s greatest President,” Abraham Lincoln, arresting […]

Florida Sheriff Trashes First Amendment in Video, Demands Photographers Leave “Expanding Crime Scene”

A Florida sheriff took the law into her own hands, using unlawful excuses to expand a crime scene to exclude journalists from a crime scene.
The Palm Beach Sheriff’s deputy was caught on camera in two videos you can see below demanding that photographers cease taking images or video in without any lawful authority.
Detective Amanda Pfeifle of south Florida’s Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office yelled at a local journalist, ordering him not to take pictures of a crime scene, directly violating the First Amendment.

Minnesota Undercover Cop Detains Driver Just for “Taking Video”

An undercover sheriff’s deputy in Minnesota spotted a citizen recording him with a cellphone camera while driving and used his unmarked police vehicle to conduct a contentious, and probably unlawful traffic stop.
“The ACLU will eat this up” said the Minnesota woman who wasn’t suspected of a crime, but unlawfully detained by a Stearns County sheriff’s deputy in the three videos shared below.
She’s probably right.

Mainstream Media Finally Acknowledging Need for Citizen Journalists

To those of us that use critical thinking skills, it’s no secret that the corporate media lies. Mainstream media has, for years, been using their influence to sway elections, push products, and even help get murderers off. Well as long as those murderers are wearing badges, that is.
This “brainwash the masses” mindset  has created a rift in society that has spawned a new type of media. These citizen journalists have emerged as an “alternate” media that has gained tons of credibility by reporting the real stories with videos to back up claims of abuses.
