Czech Parliament approves open-carry gun law to fight terrorism

Gun control advocates in the US often paint Europe as a kind of gun free paradise, where only terrorists carry weapons.
The truth is rather different. Czech Republic for example provides responsible adults with permits that allow one to carry two concealed handguns. The rates of concealed carry permits in the Czech Republic are higher per capita than that of the US, although overall per capita firearm ownership is higher in the US.

Police Deaths Up In 2017, But Not From ‘The War The On Cops’

Law Enforcement Officer deaths by firearm are down slightly through May 20th, as compared to this time last year. In 2016, according to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund (NLEOMF), 18 officers were killed by firearms.
So far this year, only 17 officers have been killed by firearms.

Congress Moves Forward With Plan To Strip Gun Ban For Mentally Disabled

(REPORT) — The United States Congress voted on Wednesday to block a gun regulation that would prevent thousands of people with mental disabilities from purchasing weapons. Passed by the Republican-led house, the legislation will now be sent to President Donald Trump.
