The EU Parliament has moved to trigger what is referred to as the ‘nuclear option’ Article 7 against Hungary.
During the parliament session in Strasbourg, France, 448 MEPs voted in favour of invoking Article 7 against Hungary, while 197 voted against the motion and 48 abstained.
According to RT, Article 7 of the 2007 Treaty of Lisbon, often dubbed ‘nuclear option’, is designed to be applied if there is “a clear risk of a serious breach” of the EU values by one of the member states.

Hungarian leaders say they are accustomed to countering Soros' dirty tricks and lies, but they warn that Europe as a whole is in danger. Hungarian Prime Minister Orban has warned of globalists using migration to crush the people and destroy national sovereignty. [...]

The French Presidential Election took another controversial turn with the EU Parliament revoking the immunity of France’s right-wing candidate, Marine Le Pen, for tweeting graphic photos of ISIS victims dating back to 2015 on Twitter. The decision to revoke immunity was taken by a majority of members in the plenary of the EU Parliament.

French Presidential front runner Maine Le Pen has been stripped of her  Parliamentary immunity by the EU Parliament. Although I do not believe the move will impede her progress in the French Presidential election, it could create an unneeded headache.
