Kirschner is a former senior prosecutor. He started his career in the US Army and ended up running the homicide section in Washington DC.  He is currently teaching law at George Washington University. Those are impressive credentials, but a more relevant question today is who is paying this guy, or perhaps even more candidly, what has he been smoking?

Federal Prosecutors Want Google Punished For ‘Withholding’ User Data

Federal prosecutors on Wednesday urged a judge to slap Google with higher sanctions for failing to comply with a court order that it hand over emails and other data the technology giant claims are beyond the reach of the U.S. government.
“The sanction itself needs to have significant teeth in order to compel Google, a $600 billion company, to change its behavior,” Department of Justice attorney Andrew Pak argued in court Wednesday.

Wikileaks Dumps 72,000 Hacked Emails From French President Macron

In a move that is certain to prompt more allegations that Wikileaks is part of a counter-establishment push, one ostensibly supported by Russia, on Monday morning Wikileaks dumped more than 21,000 “verified” emails associated with the French presidential campaign of Emmanuel Macron. Julian Assange’s organization claims the batch of  21,075 emails, dating from March 2009 to April 2017, have been uniquely verified through its DKIM system.
