It is unusual for a police chief to get arrested and tased, because they are the head of the department.
But the police chief of the Drexel Police Department in Missouri got drunk, started an argument with a man, pointed a gun in the man’s face, and then was arrested for it; not to mention the police chief was tasered in the process. Drexel is about an hour south of Kansas City.

And now she’s suing.
St. Paul cop Thaddeus P. Schmidt failed to maintain control of his police dog that mauled her arm for more than 30 seconds after grabbing her and knocking her to the ground.
“You’re fine,” one officer can be heard telling the woman as he grabs her hand, pulling her away from the dog.
But that only appears to cause her more pain, since the dog’s bite is locked onto her arm pulling her in the opposite direction.
If only this happened every time a law enforcement officer was caught doing something questionable, we would live in a very different time, but sadly that is not the case.
What started off as a Facebook live stream with an Uncle and his Nephew, hanging out listening to some jams and acting the fool, resulted in a paid suspension and eventually the officer resigning. A 20-year career ended by a video.
Two Connecticut state troopers were arrested Tuesday for nearly beating a man to death while they were off-duty after a night of heavy drinking and nightclubbing.
The troopers were angry that the man grabbed a woman’s butt at an after-party in one of the trooper’s home.
In classic mob style, the troopers even took pictures of the man’s drivers license in an attempt to dissuade him from telling the police.
Now, both troopers have been suspended and a judge has put them both on house arrest until their day in court.
How many shots does it take for a cop to pass out in their patrol vehicle while in uniform and on-duty as a police dog helplessly sits in the backseat?
It took 15 shots of vodka for a Wisconsin deputy to do just that.
St. Croix County Sheriff’s Deputy Ryan Fowler ended up having a .23 blood alcohol content – nearly three times the legal limit.
In fact, Fowler still had the squad car in drive with his foot on the brake when responding officers found him passed out from his drunken stupor.

Fort Lauderdale police officer David Knapp also doesn’t remember how his gun came flying out of his holster during the altercation, landing on the floor.
And that was apparently enough for prosecutors not to charge Fort Lauderdale police officer David Knapp, figuring he was so drunk, they could not prove he intentionally belted the man.
