Drag Queen Storytime

Brett Blomme is a Circuit Court Judge at Milwaukee County Children's Court and was president of a group that hosts Drag-Queen Story Hour for children in libraries. Blomme has been charged with uploading child pornography and some of the files were uploaded from a Milwaukee County government building.

A Baptist pastor, Afhsin Yaghtin, was arrested and jailed after refusing to move across the street from the public library while exercising his right to free speech against a “Drag Queen Story Hour.” There was a strong police presence, including snipers on the rooftop.

Alberto Garza, who calls his drag queen persona Tatiana Mala Nina, is a six foot, 200-pound male sex offender who was convicted in 2008 of sexually assaulting an eight-year-old boy. He read to children at the Houston Library
