Four years ago, not even the most liberal, Marxist candidate would have praised leftist violence. He or she would have tried to look for the “legit” side of such action, but they would have never endorsed it. But now, we have precisely this kind of rhetoric, only thinly masked. (and not with a COVID mask either.)

Kamala Harris just made history as the first (Vice?) Presidential candidated to support violence “as an agent of change.” Fox carried this report, written by Sam Dorman [emphasis added for subsequent comment – Ed.]:

Tucker Carlson delivered another scathing review of the state of affairs in the United States, with liberal governments actually showing themselves as more and more culpable in the deaths of people precisely because of the coronavirus lockdowns, which were touted as life-saving. The news coming from the US about the riots “based” on the killing of George Floyd, a black man, at the hands of a white police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, continues to be disturbing, to say the least.

SANA’A, YEMEN — Massive demonstrations took place across Yemen’s major provinces on Friday to oppose a meeting of leaders of Arab and Islamic countries who gathered in Saudi Arabia. Demonstrators also rallied against the Trump administration’s “Deal of the Century” — as Friday is also international “Quds Day,” when protests are held across the world to show solidarity with Palestinians.

SANA’A, YEMEN — Massive demonstrations took place across Yemen’s major cities on Tuesday to commemorate the fourth anniversary of the Saudi-led war on the country. The war ostensibly began on March 26, 2015, when Saudi Arabia, backed by the U.S. and other regional allies, launched a large-scale attack on Yemen under the pretext of reinstating ousted former president Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi. The war’s real purpose was to defeat the Houthi Ansar Allah movement, which gained popular support following the Arab Spring and has grown even more powerful since the Saudi war began.

SANA’A, YEMEN —  “Today we march to announce our readiness to confront the Saudi alliance more than ever before,” said Abdulrahman Al-Hamran, a demonstrator in al Sabeen, Yemen. Al-Hamran was one of the millions who gathered across six Yemeni provinces on Sunday to commemorate the birthday of Islam’s Holy Prophet Muhammad and to denounce Saudi Arabia and its coalition allies’ military campaign against Yemen.

Nineteen Sixty-Eight began with the Têt offensive, when the Vietnamese national liberation struggle suddenly showed its strength as a military force, though it was eventually beaten back into guerrilla warfare.
