Rachel Shelton and her attorney made the announcement at a news conference outside Springfield’s city hall.
As mandatory mask orders continue to creep across the nation, a woman from the city of Springfield, Missouri, Rachel Shelton, went public with her plans to sue the city and its eight council members after their recent passage of an ordinance that requires residents to mask-up in public.

Judge Michael McHaney ruled that Pritzker was prohibited “from in any way enforcing the March 20 executive order against the complainant forcing him to isolate and quarantine in his home.” Citizens are “overwhelmed" and "scared to death" not of the COVID-19 virus, but of losing their livelihoods.

Snohomish County Sheriff Adam Fortney posted a letter on Facebook stating: "We have the right to peaceably assemble. We have the right to keep and bear arms. We have the right to attend church service of any denomination. The impacts of COVID 19 no longer warrant the suspension of our Constitutional rights."

Sara Walton Brady was arrested after refusing to leave the park with her children. The people at the park were reportedly members of the Idaho Freedom Foundation, and were protesting the stay-at-home order. On Tuesday evening, Ammon Bundy joined protesters outside the home of the arresting officer.

The New York Police Department reached a settlement with Muslim-owned businesses, mosques, student groups, and others it subjected to discriminatory and suspicionless surveillance.
As part of the settlement, businesses and mosques that were spied upon by the NYPD will receive damages for income lost as a result of the stigma and humiliation they suffered “for being targeted on the basis of their religion.”
