Whatever one thinks about how the far left worldwide has exploited this unnecessary death, there are real issues related to it. These are the behaviour of the American police in particular, thugs in uniform or plain clothes who shoot first and ask questions as an afterthought.
Although it can happen, innocent members of the public are very rarely shot by the police in the UK, and outright thuggery is related mostly but not entirely to public order incidents.
David Icke, who was in the news again recently for all the wrong reasons, is both a certifiable lunatic and one of the greatest prophets of the Twentieth Century. In 1995, he wrote:
“Today if you go into a shop to buy food and your credit card is refused by the computer, you can pay with cash. What happens when there is no cash? You are at the mercy of the computer. If it refuses your card or microchip, you have no means to purchase anything.”
The subject of civil asset forfeiture in the United States was covered briefly in a previous article, but this tyrannical practice requires a more substantial treatment.
1) There are too many such cases to enumerate here, but on August 11, 2014, a young white man named Dillon Taylor was shot in the back by a police officer after ignoring a warning to stop. He was wearing headphones at the time. The district attorney ruled the murder justified. Last year, a Salt Lake City judge dismissed a lawsuit by the victim’s family.
Hello Mr President,
You have claimed consistently and still do claim that America is the greatest country in the world. Patriotism is a noble thing, but it should not blind us to the inadequacies and shortcomings of our nation, whatever that nation is.
1) How would you like to live in a nation in which there is no rule of law, where innocent citizens can be murdered by the police with total impunity?
2) In which a police officer can kill an innocent man, shooting him in the back, and be rewarded for it?

In 2017 alone, police have killed 746 people in the U.S., according to the Killed By Police database, which puts this year on pace to become the deadliest year on record. In contrast, in the first seven months of 2016, police killed 714 people; the number was slightly higher in 2015 with 725 killed, and it was noticeably lower in 2014 with 663 killed and in 2013 with 353 killed.
