Harvey Milk was an old friend of mine. He was serving on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors with Dianne Feinstein when he was assassinated. He always detested Feinstein-- hated her even more than Dan White, the guy who murdered him and Mayor George Moscone late in November of 1978. I never met her by I felt like I knew her through Harvey. I never voted for her as a county supervisor or as a mayor or as anything else she ever ran for. Back in these early days of her political career, DiFi was a xenophobic asshole who was making her name as an anti-Hispanic/anti-Asian asshole.
Frank Schaeffer has been traveling around the country meeting with the best progressive candidates for Congress and filming them. Last week he was in Orange County. We saw his talk with Laura Oatman, the progressive woman running for the coastal Orange County district held by Dana Rohrabacher, a few days ago.

Both are in big trouble with voters in their districts.
As you may know-- I hope so-- Frank Schaeffer is driving around the country making a film. He's interviewing progressive Democrats who can beat Republicans next year. Meanwhile he's been posting videos each time he gets to a district. He started with Randy Bryce in Wisconsin and then went to Forsyth County, North Carolina to see Jenny Marshall.
I don't have a private jet; never did. But... I sort of did. I was the president of a division of TimeWarner and the company had private jets. All I had to do was call and say I need a jet and I could fly anywhere I wanted. You knowhow many time I did that? Zero, never once. That's because it's incredibly expensive and a horrifying waste of money that could have been spent on helping break out artists (for example).
A police officer and an official from the Claremont school district questioned a young mother about the vaccination status of her children. Later, when she called the police department, she was told she could be arrested for refusing to vaccinate her children. [...]
A California woman posted to a Facebook group about two lost St. Bernard dogs in her cul-de-sac.
Ten minutes later, a Red Bluff police officer showed up and shot them dead.
The officer claims the dogs were acting aggressively.
However, a witness at the scene gave a different story.
