LONDON (Sputnik) – Russian embassy in London has reminded Russian citizens that the terror attack threat level in the United Kingdom remains high, and recommended to refrain from attending potentially dangerous public events, the embassy said Saturday in a statement.
“We remind the citizens about a serious terror attack threat level in the United Kingdom. Once again, we call on the citizens to be security-conscious and refrain from visiting public places,” the statement read.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to The Telegraph newspaper, such an offer in the only way out from the current deadlock in Brexit negotiations with Brussels.
London is ready to pay this sum if Brussels agrees to negotiate the financial settlement as part of an agreement on future UK’s relations with the bloc, including a trade deal, Whitehall sources told the media outlet.

A former British ambassador to Saudi Arabia is the latest high profile figure to raise concerns about Saudi funding of terrorism in the UK. Sir William Patey, who was the British ambassador in Riyadh for four years between 2006 and 2010, said Saudi funding helps create “fodder for terrorism”.
