The international Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement is leading a campaign against the hit Israeli series, “Fauda”. Denouncing the widely acclaimed series as “racist propaganda for the Israeli occupation army”, BDS called on Netflix, which bought the rights to “Fauda”, to remove the show or face legal action.

Opinion– The Lorde saga has now reached new riveting heights. Just a few months ago on December 21st, 2017 two young female fans from Aotearoa, New Zealand wrote an open letter urging Lorde to cancel her Tel Aviv concert, scheduled for June of this year. A few days later Lorde a 21-year-old singer and songwriter canceled her Tel Aviv show. This quickly prompted outspoken celebrity Rabbi Shmuley Boteach to take out a full-page “ad” in the Washington Post to initiate a smear campaign against the New Zealand artist.

New Orleans Becomes First Southern City to Adopt BDS Resolution

The New Orleans City Council passed a resolution backed by Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) advocates, pledging to examine investments and contracts with companies whose practices may violate human rights.
The resolution, which was supported by the New Orleans Palestinian Solidarity Committee, recommends removing corporations that violate the city’s social and ethical values from the city’s list of corporate securities and contractual partners.
New Orleans became the first city in the US south to adopt a pro-BDS resolution.

Miko Peled: A Silenced Critic Of Israeli Policy

Despite the U.S. media’s extensive coverage of Israel, what Miko Peled says is seldom heard by Americans, although he was born in Jerusalem and comes from a famous Israeli family. Peled’s grandfather was one of the signers of the Israeli founding documents. His father was a soldier in the war which led to the creation of Israel and later a senior army general during the 1967 war. And one of Peled’s nieces was killed in a suicide bombing attack.

Israel’s finance minister is working on a set of measures to revoke tax benefits for anyone that supports Amnesty International’s campaign for a boycott against the Israeli occupation.
Sources in Israel have reported that the Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon is working to introduce a set of measures to revoke tax benefits from Amnesty International’s supporters, in accordance with the Boycott Law.
