A Worse Democratic Candidate For President Than Biden? Let Me See-- Well, He's Not A Really Candidate, But There Is John Delaney

When I was on the air with David Feldman this week, he asked me if there are any candidates worse than Biden. I mentioned that there are a few on the right-fringe of the Democratic Party who have no traction and no chance to win but that certainly John Delaney would be almost as bad.

Candidate-Wise, Is The Democratic Tent Too Big? Should They Really Keep Recruiting Blue Dogs And New Dems For Congress?

Early Monday morning, the NY Times published a piece by Catie Edmondson and Emily Cochrane, In Conservative Districts, Democrats Have To Answer For Party's Left Wing, that gets off on the wrong foot right from the very start, describing reactionary Utah Blue Dog Ben McAdams as a "moderate." He isn't.Edmondson and Cochra

Question And Answer Time With Rep. Joe Cunningham (Blue Dog-SC)

JoeI got an e-mail yesterday from Joe Cunningham, a freshman from the most progressive area of South Carolina. The subject line was "Howard -- Could we talk about the GOP's strategy to beat me?" Here's the letter and my response. Was I too harsh?-----Original Message-----From: Joe Cunningham To: Howard Klein Sent: Wed, Feb 20, 2019 9:06 amSubject: Howard -- Could we talk about the GOP's strategy to beat me?

Tomorrow's The Day In North Carolina-- Another Fascist In Congress... Or A Somewhat Less Horrible Blue Dog?

It's exceedingly rare that elections that are decided by vote theft get overturned. 3 New Blue Dogs-- 3 More Freshmen Pledge Fealty To The Republican Wing Of The Democratic Party

Blue Dogs screw up everything... always7 of the worst, most right-wing Democrats elected in November immediately joined the Blue Dog coalition: Anthony Brindisi (NY), Ben McAdams (UT), Max Rose (NY), Mikie Sherrill (NJ), Abigail Spanberger (VA), Xochitl Torres Small (NM) and Jeff Van Drew (NJ). Yesterday, Lou Correa, Blue Dog co-chair for communications, proudly announced that 3 more right-of-center freshmen had just joined the coalition:

Want To Chip In To Help A Blue Dog Win A Seat In North Carolina? Neither Do I

North Carolina Republicans realize that vote thief Mark Harris is unelectable-- and there's a special election coming to fill the NC-09 seat he almost got away with stealing. The district is trending purple but it still leans pretty Republican. Trump beat Hillary there 54.4% to 42.8%. That's a lot of ground to make up. And Cook still gives the district a PVI of R+8.
