Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in St.Petersburg for their fourth meeting this year.
Kurz and Putin opened a historic painting exhibition dedicated to relations between the two countries in the city’s prestigious Hermitage museum, before proceeding to talks.
The delegations present at the meeting between the two leaders include the head of Russia’s Gazprom and Austria’s OMV.

Orban: ‘When it comes to the question of who can live in Hungary, Merkel is not the one in charge’

Viktor Orban wanted no part in Merkel’s migrant resettlement plan, and didn’t participate in the recent EU summit on the matter, largely because he is flat out opposed to admitting migrants into Hungary. His position is that it’s not his mandate to take migration orders from Brussels, but that it certainly is his mandate to protect his country and its people, pointing out that the Hungarian people would oust him if he violated it by importing migrants. He bluntly put it that ‘when it comes to the question of who can live in Hungary, Merkel is not the one in charge.”

UK looks to China for post Brexit trade

Britain is on the lookout for who will be its trading partners once it has consummated its divorce from the European Union. British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt traveled to Beijing in order to further develop ties and to try to get the ball rolling on a post Brexit trade arrangement. Not only is Britain looking to find a deal with China, but with each member of the EU, in particular France and Austria while on his current trip to develop trade ties.
