Anti-Asian Hate Crime

Jeffrey Davis, 40, a homeless man accused of the attack, was arrested for the crime after police viewed a video from a school camera. Reports indicate that Davis has been arrested nine additional times for misdemeanors and felonies with the most recent being Nov. 29.

Elliot was on lifetime parole after fatally stabbing his mother to death in front of his five-year old sister in 2002 when he was 19-years-old. NY has implemented drastic changes to its parole and bail policies. Local governments were threatened to change their policing policies or risk losing their state funding.
