(ANTIMEDIA) Birmingham, Alabama — The people of Alabama have spoken. Doug Jones will become the first Democrat to represent the Heart of Dixie in the United States Senate in over 20 years.

Alabama's 4th congressional district-- it's whitest and most Appalachian district-- seat of dull right-wing backbencher Robert Aderholt, is likely to disappear after the next census. It's easily the reddest and most politically and socially backward part of Alabama-- cutting clear across the state from Mississippi (east of Tupelo) to Georgia northwest of Rome.

Alabama elected Democrat, Doug Jones, in a tight race against Judge Roy Moore who was the target of a smear campaign by Democrats, the media, late-night comics, and George Soros. The Senate is now composed of 51 Republicans and 49 Democrats. [That is not as important as it may seem, because there is no conflict between the two parties on most important issues, such as US sovereignty, the Federal Reserve. and privacy.

Tomorrow is election day in Alabama. I'm rooting for Doug Jones. He doesn't just seem better than Roy Moore-- now there's a low bar-- but better than Jon Ossoff too. I bought into Ossoff, contributed some monet to him personally and Blue America endorsed him and raised him some money.
