SADAA, YEMEN — At least 14 civilians, including four children, were killed and at least 26 injured when Saudi Arabia targeted the crowded Al-Thabit Market in the border town of Qataber in Yemen’s Sadaa province on Monday. The airstrike occurred at a time when the market was crowded with shoppers. At least 10 of the wounded are in critical condition, according to Yemen’s health minister, who said that the death toll was likely to rise.

HODEIDA, YEMEN — At least eight fishermen were killed and five injured off the northern coast of Yemen’s Badh Island on Wednesday, when Saudi Apaches launched airstrikes on their fishing boat in waters near the port city of Hodeida. Ten fishermen are still missing following the strike.
Yasser Abker Ahmed Gethem, a 24-year-old fisherman who was in injured in the strike, recounted the events from a hospital bed in Hodeida Hospital’s emergency room.

Local witnesses told MintPress News that airstrikes targeted Ayesh Clip’s bee farm at Deir Essa in the Bajjel district of southern Hodeida, killing Ayesh and four of his family members. The attack also destroyed the farm, which was the family’s sole source of income in a country gripped by famine and a devastating humanitarian crisis.

Saudi Airstrikes on UNICEF Water Facility in Yemen Compounds Cholera Risk

SAADA, YEMEN — Four Saudi warplanes launched airstrikes against the UNICEF-funded al Asayed Water Network, destroying water pumps, an electric generator, a nearby solar energy system, and a guard room. Much of the facility was destroyed in the attack, leaving thousands of residents of the Al Safra district of Yemen’s Saada governorate, including internally displaced families, without clean drinking water.
