But a police officer shooting a civilian counts as gun violence. Every time an officer uses a gun against an innocent or an unarmed person contributes to the culture of gun violence in this country.

In direct response to ongoing military aggression and mind boggling increases in military funding that pass with bipartisan support in the United States, as well as the absence of the issue of war in the popular Women’s Marches held in 2017 and 2018, anti-war activists are calling for a Women’s March on the Pentagon, akin to the 1967 anti-war event in Washington D.C. and subsequent march on the Pentagon. The march is slated to take place on October 20th and 21st 2018, the 51st anniversary of the anti-war march that drew upwards of 50,000 people.
US empire is in decline. Reports of the end of the US being the unitary power in world affairs are common, as are predictions of the end of US empire. China surpassed the United States as the world economic leader according to Purchasing Power Parity Gross National Product, and Russia announced new weapons that can overcome the US’ defense systems.
Anyone reading the scientific literature (or the progressive news outlets that truthfully report this literature) knows that homo sapiens is on the fast track to extinction, most likely some time between 2025 and 2040.
