Guantanámo Judge to Prosecution: Turn Over the Torture Evidence
By Marcellene Hearn | ACLU | July 14, 2014 Last month, a military judge dealt a significant blow to U.S. prosecutors’ efforts to suppress torture evidence in the Guantanámo military commissions. In a ruling in the U.S.S. Cole case, unsealed last week, Judge James Pohl told prosecutors they must hand over CIA black site information […]

Republican Party Doctrine: "You Don't Need Facts To Impeach A President"
I'm not sure when Rick Perlstein started writing his new book, The Invisible Bridge-- The Fall Of Reagan And The Rise Of Reagan, but I'll guess it was at least a year or two before Boehner came up with his lame-brained idea to sue President Obama. In it, though, is a pretty powerful reminder of just what an imperial presidency was, replete with the kind of overstepping of boundaries of which Boehner is accusing Obama.

Resisting Obama’s Amnesty Rush
I have been warning people that their children could be at risk when they go back to school because illegal alien children have been exposing Americans at the borders and at summer schools to active TB, swine flu, lice, scabies and Chagas. Scabies and Chagas are parasitical diseases. Chagas can swell the heart ventricle and can be fatal. The Corporate Media has not issued a travel advisory warning passengers on buses and planes that they are being exposed to diseases that can drastically change their lives. We have already had active cases of TB at two California schools.

Sderot Cinema- Israeli's enjoying the mass killings of Palestinians
People gathering to watch live bombing of Gaza – should make us all uncomfortableSpeaking for myself, I cannot view violence on tell-a-vision or in movies. To sit and watch people being killed in real life, as if it is entertainment, is beyond my moral comprehensionWhat does this tell us about the mindset of Israelis, engaging in such egregious behaviour?

Terror in Gaza: 57 seconds after ‘warning,’ Israel destroys a house
Israel claims it is warning civilians about missile strikes by “roof knocking.” Israeli army spokesperson Lt. Col. Peter Lerner made that claim to a credulous Wolf Blitzer last night on CNN. We tap harmlessly on roofs, he said, so the residents can leave.
Max Blumenthal just tweeted the video above:
See how Israel “warns” Gazans it is going to bomb their homes and imagine the terror. -
Israel’s incremental genocide in the Gaza ghetto
Cessation of the incremental genocide in Gaza and the restitution of the basic human and civil rights of Palestinians wherever they are, including the right of return, is the only way to open a new vista for a productive international intervention in the Middle East as a whole.

No, Israel Does Not Have the Right to Self-Defense In International Law Against Occupied Palestinian Territory
Occupation Law prohibits an occupying power from initiating armed force against its occupied territory. By mere virtue of the existence of military occupation, an armed attack, including one consistent with the UN Charter, has already occurred and been concluded. Therefore the right of self-defense in international law is, by definition since 1967, not available to Israel with respect to its dealings with real or perceived threats emanating from the West Bank and Gaza Strip population.

CNN: Palestinians Want to Die
CNN, Jake Tapper interviews Diana Buttu, a former advisor to the PLO. After failing to persuade her of Israel’s complete innocence, he tells her that Hamas is instructing women and children to remain in their homes to die as Israel bombs them. She responds by expressing doubt that people want to die. Oh no, says Tapper, Palestinians live in a culture of martyrdom; they want to die.
