This is the full page ad Blue America is running today in The Times, a response to over half a million dollars of garbage ads Sheldon Adelson and his family and cronies have thrown into CA-33 against Ted Lieu and on behalf of a random Republican they're running. If you'd like to help Ted's Get Out The Vote efforts, you can do that here. If you'd like to help Blue America re-run the ad on Monday... you can do that here. More important than either action-- vote next Tuesday...

The United States, now on a new hunt for a great white whale, has virtually re-created East Germany’s dreaded Stasi, only in a much more sophisticated and far-reaching form. It meshes with the all-pervasive secret state police apparatus Israel has constructed in the Middle East with infinite care since 1948.
Sinai is both heaven and hell. This triangular desert boasts an arid landscape of hopeless horizons often interrupted by leftover military hardware from previous wars. The land is comprised of breathtaking beaches, incredible history, and a fusion of fascinating cultures that reach back into the past as far as ancient times can possibly go. This […]
U.S. and Iranian negotiators are working on a compromise approach to the issue of Iran’s uranium enrichment capabilities, which the Barack Obama administration has said in the past Iran was refusing to make concessions on. The compromise now being seriously discussed would meet the Obama administration’s original requirement for limiting Iran’s “breakout capability” by a […]
The idea that the United States must exercise "global leadership" is rationalized by our interventionists as a necessary prerequisite for maintaining some type of "world order." Who will guard the sea lanes? Who will deter "aggression"? Who will defend the "rules" against those "rogue states" just waiting for an opportunity to wreak havoc, if not […]
The money quote in the PAGES2K abstract was that there wasn’t any worldwide Little Ice Age of Medieval Warm Period and that AD1971-2000 temperatures were the highest in nearly 1400 years, long before the Medieval Period:
There were no globally synchronous multi-decadal warm or cold intervals that define a worldwide Medieval Warm Period or Little Ice Age … during the period ad 1971–2000, the area-weighted average reconstructed temperature was higher than any other time in nearly 1,400 years.
The Republicans love it when feeble-minded or low-info independents and moderates blame "both sides" for governmental dysfunction instead of focusing, for example, on the conservative ideology and GOP mania to shrink government so that they can drown it in a bathtub... in the poetic words of Republican crooked lobbyist and power monger Grover Norquist.
At least 160 people were killed. All of them except for two civilians were militants. Eighteen militants were also wounded.
TweetTurkey, one of the leading supporters of radical Islam is harboring 2 well know radical Islamists, Wessam Bin Hameed and Ismael Salabi. Both of these terrorists are tied with the Ansar Al Sharia terrorist group that attacked and killed the US Ambassador Chris Stevens. Both of them are known to have been involved in the attack.
The White House has announced today that a long-standing plan to roll out a federal “Internet ID” authentication scheme that would be used to log in to all websites across the Internet will move forward, and the service will launch in six to twelve months.
TweetThe Sudan has trained a bunch of radical Islamists to fly helicopters and planes. These radical Islamists were delivered to Libya yesterday via Mitiga airport under the
control of Al Qaeda leader Abdulhakim Belhaj.
Today, these radicals working with Misurata Islamic mafia and all other radical groups in Libya, began to fly their planes and helicopters against the people of Tripoli. They have blocked roads
and are shooting at innocent people to try and stave off the inevitable fall of their corrupt illegal hold on Tripoli.

TweetThe latest news just in is that the Ansar Al Sharia radicals left in the city of Derna will proclaim their support for Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State on Friday the 31st of October. So here you have it, the proof that the radicals put in place by NATO are now joining with our enemy, at least we are sort of attacking ISIS. Then again, according to John McCain, there are good radicals and bad radicals. The ones that work for his Zionists masters are good the others are bad.

TweetToday the Sharia Council in Benghazi posted a statement. They are folding, they have no support and they are nearly gone.
This is GREAT news for the Libyan people who are not radical Islamists and do not want the radical Islamists Sharia imposed upon them,
This is all thank you very much to the Libyan Army and the Great Tribes of Libya who have joined together to bring down the disease of radical Islam that has invaded their country and taken away their lives and homes.
This has nothing to do with Khalifa Haftar.

Here’s a little real talk about the book publishing industry — it adds almost no value, it is going to be wiped off the face of the earth soon, and writers and readers will be better off for it. – Matthew Yglesias
This week, Paul Ryan has been pushing a new GOP talking point about how Dodd Frank is to the banking system what Obamacare is for the healthcare system. In other words, he's way on board with Wall Street whore and House Financial Services Committee chair Jeb Hensarling in wanting to repeal or dismantle the consumer (and societal) protections, as weak as they were, in Dodd Frank.
TweetMisurata and other Islamic terrorists (Muslim Brotherhood, Ansar Al Sharia, Al Qaeda etc.) , who were injured attempting to maintain their illegal control by force over the legitimate Libyan people, are sent to Turkey and put in 5 star hotels while they recuperate from their wounds.

The details are emerging of a new secret and quite stupid Saudi-US deal on Syria and the so-called IS. It involves oil and gas control of the entire region and the weakening of Russia and Iran by Saudi Arabian flooding the world market with cheap oil. Details were concluded in the September meeting by US Secretary of State John Kerry and the Saudi King.

There is more truth about American journalism in the film “Kill the Messenger,” which chronicles the mainstream media’s discrediting of the work of the investigative journalist Gary Webb, than there is in the movie “All the President’s Men,” which celebrates the exploits of the reporters who uncovered the Watergate scandal.

Canada/US solidarity in more ways then oneSolidarity is key, because NATO leader (US) and NATO toady (Canada) are joined in solidarity to expand/commit and justify global terror. Therefore solidarity would be a priority.Of course, it’s just good timing that Kerry was previously scheduled, (“planned trip”) to visit Canada for “bilateral meetings’. Gives him the chance to personally express his condolences.....
Things can only get better for the Democrats after this asshole steps downOne week from today is election day. Are you counting down? The Blue America strategy has been to see if we could elect some solid progressives to Congress. Once Pelosi reappointed Steve Israel to the DCCC, it was immediately obvious that the Democrats would have ZERO chance to take back the House.
