Wacky Nuclear Politics About to Blow Up the US and with its “Own Rhetoric”
One does not need to have grown up in the age of “duck and cover” to understand that the nuclear scare that we are now experiencing could have been inspired from the script of Dr. Strangelove, written by of Stanley Kubrick as a black comedy that reflected the reality of nuclear weapons, “Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb.” Released 1964, the film’s plot caused a good deal of controversy because it was too close to what could have been reality. -

The less-mentioned lives of Mrs. Krim
By Helena Cobban | Just World News | January 18, 2018 This week, US media have contained many glowing obituaries of a 91-year-old medical researcher called Mathilde Krim, who in the early 1980s played an apparently huge role in publicizing and destigmatizing the then-new disease of HIV/AIDS and in mobilizing funding for NGOs and research […]

COLD WAR MENTALITY: Latest US ‘Defense’ Strategy is Blueprint for New Arms Race
On Jan 19th, US Defense Secretary James ‘Mad Dog’ Mattis rolled out what appears to be a ‘blank cheque’ US defense strategy, complete with all the bold platitudes and promises of ‘greater security’ for America. But how in-tune with reality are defense ‘experts’? Is the NDS anything more than a Christmas ‘wish-list’ for US defense contractors?

#ReleaseTheMemo: “Disturbing and explosive” surveillance abuse by FBI and DOJ under Obama, against Trump (Video)
Last weeks news of the FISA memo was a bombshell that appears to connect all the dots behind the real US election collusion of 2016.
The real collusion appear to have taken place between the Obama White House, the FBI, the DOJ, and the Clinton campaign in na effort to sabotage presidential candidate Trump.
GOP Reps are now demanding the FISA memo be made public stating that Americans deserve to know the truth about the Russia investigation. -
Watch Republican give awkward speech on Russia to empty senate chamber
In a previous piece we reported the outgoing Arizona Republican Senator (and Never Trumper) Jeff Flake giving a 14 minute speech to an all-but empty Senate floor. This speech was attended by all of two – yes, only two Senators, both of them not big Trump fans, either, these two being Dick Durbin and Amy Klobuchar.
However, the good Senator lied. What is particularly sad about this is that he lied while giving a speech that was about truthfulness. -
The US Syria 'Strategy" – Recipe for Continued Disaster Even for the US
Most media covering the speech that US Secretary of State, Rex Tillerson, gave at the Hoover Institution on January 17, 2018 merely points out that he said that the United States would stay in Syria – open-ended – in the future and until President Bashar al-Assad has left the scene. Read the full speech here.

Fusion GPS founder admits that FBI may have paid British spy to gather dirt on Trump
The co-founder of PR smear machine Fusion GPS, Glenn Simpson, stated in testimony that it “makes sense” to him that the FBI paid for a trip to Rome by the former British spy who was contracted by Simpson’s company to produce the discredited “Trump dossier”.
If verified, then this is yet another nail in the coffin of the Mueller Russia investigation, and more proof that the real collusion taking place was between the Obama White House, the FBI, the DOJ, and the Clinton campaign in na effort to sabotage presidential candidate Trump. -

Erdogan takes on US border forces in Syria: “We will destroy all terror nests, one by one”
This was predictable. The Duran has been stating now for over a year that Turkey’s Erdogan would never allow the Kurds to set up any sort of state, quasi-state, or (as Rex Tillerson outlined last week) a “Border Security Force” made up of Kurdish fighters.
The a Kurdish presence south of Turkey is a threat to Turkey’s very existence as a nation state. Erdogan will have no choice but to crush America’s BSF forces.
The question on Pat Buchanan’s mind is what will the US reaction be? -

Midnight Meme Of The Day!

Nuclear Annihilation and the Wisdom of Mass Salvation
Incoming! Incoming! Uh . . . pardon me while I interrupt this false alarm to quote Martin Luther King: “Science investigates,” he says in The Strength To Love, “religion interprets. The Physical
-by Helen KleinIt is rather surprising that “The Physical” is not getting more attention in the media. The lack of mention in the New York Times is particularly troubling and disappointing.Trump recently had his first annual physical by Dr. Ronny L. Jackson, Navy Rear Admiral. When I saw a brief clip of the doctor’s presentation of his findings on MSNBC, I was surprised and struck by his manner and wording, which seemed weird and veered off toward inappropriate and unprofessional. He was gushing with praise and positivity for Trump and he was rather loose with his words.

Democrats and Republicans Just Teamed Up to Pass a Bill — You Know What That Means
(ANTIMEDIA) — Both mainstream political parties introduce their fair share draconian legislation, but in the current bipartisan climate they rarely agree on large issues. Whenever there is agreement between the two parties, you can take it to the bank that it’s something particularly nefarious. Remarkably or not, the two issues Democrats and Republicans have consistently agreed on so far in the 21st century is military intervention and surveillance.
